These are lists of the possessions owned by someone when they died, so they are valuable for family historians and for the social and economic history of towns and villages. Search by parish name or personal name.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h3><strong>Charnwood Roots<\/strong><\/h3><h3><a href=\"http:\/\/www.charnwoodroots.org\/\">http:\/\/www.charnwoodroots.org\/<\/a><\/h3><p>This project is also part of Leicestershire Victoria County History Trust and is exploring the history of 35 towns, villages and hamlets in and around Charnwood Forest, through archaeology, landscape studies, documentary research and oral history.
