Protestant Nonconformity in Kimcote, 1829-1916

Kimcote is 4 miles north-east of Lutterworth and 13 miles south of Leicester.

No response from Kimcote survives to the Meeting House Return of 1829, and it is possible there were no nonconformist congregations meeting in the village at that date.

Baptists

No return is recorded for Kimcote in the 1851 census of religious worship, and there may have been no nonconformist congregations meeting in the village at that date. A Baptist chapel was constructed here in 1883.[1]
