Protestant Nonconformity in Garthorpe

Tobias Watson, a joiner of Garthorpe, was said to preach at a conventicle of Baptists which met at Waltham on the Wolds in 1669.[1] Six nonconformists were noted in 1676, with 91 who conformed.[2]

No later evidence of nonconformity has been found.
